New project AgriBIT in H2020-SPACE-EGNSS-2020 Programme

We have a pleasure to announce that we have started our new project AgriBIT (Artificial intelliGence applied to pRecision farmIng By the use of GNSS and Integrated Technologies) in topic H2020-EGNSS-3 (EGNSS applications fostering societal resilience and protecting the environment) of the SPACE work program. . In this project we will increase the precision, accuracy and continuity of services to deliver improved Precision Agriculture (PA) services to farmers, leading to a reduction in costs through decreased use of inputs (water, energy, fertilisers, pesticides), lower environmental impacts and increased production yields.. As of the 17th of August 2020, the "Research for Science Art and Technology (RFSAT) Ltd" company, established in the United Kingdom, has filed to the UK Companies House for closure. This has been a difficult decision mainly caused by the negative effects of the BREXIT that have already started to cause problems to continuing collaboration with partner companies established in other EU Member States. Any projects still active shall be successively passed over to RFSAT Limited in Ireland.

Started a new project: COST Action CA19139:
"Process-based models for climate impact attribution across sectors"
Time frame: 2020-2024

ICTTF logo

Since July 2020 RFSAT Limited has been a member of the International Cyber Threat Task Force (ICTTF)

The ICTTF – International Cyber Threat Task Force was established in 2010 as a not for profit initiative promoting the ecosystem of an International independent non-partisan cyber security community. Over that decade, it has consistently innovated on how best to achieve our mission. From online community portals, apps, local membership chapters and International events ICTTF strives to work with thousands of members from around the world.

Its motto is “It Takes a Network to Defeat a Network” and its primary objective to foster collaboration and networking has been immensely successful, with events culminating every year with an annual EU Cyber Summit.

The “bad guys” are strong, highly organised and well trained. Knowledge is power and power is strength. The ICTTF was born in Ireland and when launched used the slogan “Ní neart go cur le chéile” which in English translates to “There is no Strength Without Unity”. Strength comes from knowledge, so the ICTTF has developed the Cyber Academy as an online training campus for organisations to educate their staff in becoming cyber strong and unified.

Started a new project: COST Action CA19121:
"Network on Privacy-Aware Audio- and Video-Based Applications for Active and Assisted Living"
Timeframe: 2020-2024
