ENACT Mid-Term Symposium

September 28 Icon Date: 28 September 2026
📍 Venue: AIOTI Days 2026, Florence, Italy

Held as part of AIOTI Days 2026, the ENACT Mid-Term Symposium brings together researchers, innovators, and technology experts to explore how artificial intelligence, wearable technologies, and environmental sensing are advancing exposome research and supporting more personalized approaches to healthcare.

The program features presentations from ENACT project partners covering the latest achievements of the project in AI-driven health risk prediction, wearable devices for personal exposome monitoring, sensor deployment strategies, and environmental data modelling. Attendees will also have the opportunity to see a live demonstration of the ENACT wearable platform and engage directly with the researchers behind these developments.

At this event RFSAT shall give a talk at 17:30–17:50 local time about "Building the Environmental Intelligence Layer: Air Pollution Modelling and Sensor Data Integration", where we will present ENACT environmental modelling framework, including air pollution dispersion modelling, sensor data management and the integration of heterogeneous environmental datasets for AI applications.

The symposium will conclude with a networking cocktail, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and foster new collaborations within the European research community.

The agenda of the event can be found at: https://enact-he.eu/enact-mid-term-symposium-agenda/

Participation in the ENACT Mid-Term Symposium is free of charge.

Those interested in joining the event are requested to register here

We look forward to welcoming you to Florence!

New RESILIENT-HEALTH project funded by Horizon Europe program

HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-ENVHLTH-04

RFSAT has been awarded funding for a new project RESILIENT HEALTH (Ready and Sustainable Health Systems for Climate Change) under the topic HORIZON-HLTH-2026-01-ENVHLTH-04 ("Towards climate resilient, prepared and carbon neutral populations and healthcare systems") of the HORIZON Europe work program.

In this three and half year project (expected to start on the 1st of January 2027) the consortium will deliver a new generation of integrated climate–health intelligence to make European populations and healthcare systems climate-resilient, prepared and carbon-neutral. Going beyond risk awareness, the project will create a single operable integrated climate–health system that will connect anticipatory climate–exposome intelligence, healthcare preparedness, equity-oriented adaptation and carbon-aware care redesign into deployable solutions for public authorities, healthcare providers and communities. In doing so, RESILIENT-HEALTH will enable Europe to anticipate climate-related health impacts, reduce inequalities and move from risk characterization to resilient, sustainable and preparedness-by-design health protection.
